Creating Your PowerSchool Parent Account for Annual Registration

Before your student begins school, you will need to log in to PowerSchool at https://ps.tusd.org and complete Annual Registration.

While enrollment is a one-time process that provides the District with information about your student, Annual Registration must be completed each year to update important information for the upcoming school year, including emergency contacts and health/medical alerts. Keeping this information current helps us ensure your student’s safety, particularly on in-person Fridays.

You should have received an email with the subject line PowerSchool and Sora Schools Parent Account Information with your student's access ID and password information.

To create your PowerSchool Parent account:

  1. Go to https://ps.tusd.org and select the Create Account tab.

  2. Enter your information and be sure to provide an accurate email address.

  3. Enter the Access ID and Access Password provided in your email to link your student to your account.

If you have multiple students in the District, you will receive a separate Access ID and Access Password for each child. Once all of your students have been linked to your account, you can access them using a single parent account and login.

We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox when accessing the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Although the PowerSchool mobile app is available, Annual Registration and other forms must be completed using a full web browser on a mobile device.

Step-by-step instructions for creating your parent account and linking your student are available at https://www.tusd.org/parents/powerschool.
